Concept Phase: It all starts with an innovative idea. The Mood team gathers to discuss market trends, customer needs, and new active ingredients to use. This creative phase is crucial in defining the type of product.

Packaging Selection: Once the idea is defined, we move on to choosing the packaging. It must be functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable.

Laboratory Formulation: Our Research & Development lab team then gets to work on developing the formula. Every ingredient is carefully selected to ensure efficacy and safety. Compatibility among ingredients is essential to achieve a stable and high-performing product over time. Simultaneously, we select the fragrance. Our experts test various scents to find the perfect one that reflects the product's and brand’s identity.

Compliance Evaluation: Before moving forward, the regulatory office checks the compliance of raw materials and packaging with European regulations. They also consider any requests from the Marketing department, such as FDA compliance or the use of specific claims, and arrange for necessary tests with external laboratories.

Stability and Compatibility Testing: At this stage, the product undergoes rigorous stability and compatibility tests to ensure its quality over time.

Label Review and Registrations: Finally, the regulatory office checks the compliance of the labels and completes the necessary registrations for the European market. This includes notifying the CPNP portal and requesting a safety assessment to draft the Product Information File (PIF).
